In June Yeah Yeah Yeahs returned with particulars of their first album in 9 years Cool It Down, and teamed up with Fragrance Genius on the lead single “Spitting Off the Fringe of the World“, and this afternoon they’ve launched a second monitor titled “Burning”.
Karen O says of the brand new outing, “Again after I was 19 residing within the east village, one evening a roommate dragged me out of the condominium for an impromptu drink throughout the road, I left a votive candle burning on a plastic yaffa block which in my absence set flame to my room. Inside an hour and a half of getting one drink down the block firefighters had come and gone extinguishing the fireplace, I got here residence to seek out {that a} pure catastrophe had occurred (to my room) and most of my stuff, misplaced within the flames.
