DAGS – Visiting Assistant Professor

The Division of Atmospheric and Geological Sciences (DAGS), throughout the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences, on the State College of New York (SUNY) at Oswego invitations purposes for a visiting assistant professor. This one-year place is full-time, educational yr (10 month), starting August 15, 2022.  The profitable candidate will train as much as 4 programs (12 contact hours) per semester. These programs will probably be throughout the Atmospheric and Geological Sciences Division with a deal with Synoptic and normal schooling meteorology programs.

 

Preliminary tasks embrace instructing programs corresponding to:

• MET 100 Meteorology

• MET 215 International Climate & Local weather Catastrophes

• MET 301 & 302 Synoptic Meteorology I lecture and lab (Fall 2022)

• MET 303 & 304 Synoptic Meteorology II lecture and lab (Spring 2023)

 

{Qualifications}

M.S., Ph.D. or ABD (all however dissertation) in Meteorology/Atmospheric Sciences.
