The Chemical Brothers cancel Glastonbury set attributable to COVID


Yesterday (23 June) The Chemical Brothers shared an announcement on socials asserting that they have been rescheduling their Cork present that evening “attributable to a number of circumstances of Covid-19 inside the band and crew, regardless of taking each precaution we presumably may.”

After saying they might decide “as quickly as potential concerning remaining reveals later this week,” The Chemical Brothers have shared a brand new replace on socials, cancelling their DJ set at Glastonbury’s Arcadia tonight (24 June).

The Chemical Brothers wrote, “We have been so excited to be again within the fields and to have a good time the return of the competition, as we have been to be taking part in in Cork on Thursday evening. We have been hoping that extra days relaxation would enable Tom to get better from Covid [but] this hasn’t thus far been the case.”

The assertion added that they are hoping to nonetheless play their present at York’s Fort Howard on Sunday (26 June), and can share one other replace on socials quickly.

Glastonbury Competition 2022 continues at present till Sunday (26 June).
