Sunshine and elegance for Irish Oaks competition on the Curragh



Suncream and ice-cream have been in demand as racing followers loved wall-to-wall sunshine on the Curragh Racecourse as we speak.

Magical Lagoon gained for her coach Jessica Harrington within the huge race of the day.

In the meantime off the monitor, broadcasters Marty Morrissey and Sinead Kennedy selected Danielle Gingell because the winner of the Barberstown Most Stylist competitors. Danielle, a canine groomer from Claremorris, Co Mayo, wore a Self Portrait outfit which she teamed together with her mom’s necklace and earrings.

Elsewhere, in probably the most thrilling races on the cardboard, beginner riders – together with a garda, an osteopath and an insurance coverage salesman amongst others – competed for glory within the Corinthian Problem, a charity race that raises funds for the Irish Injured Jockeys Fund.
