Two RAF Storm fighter jets have escorted a Jet2 passenger airplane to Stansted Airport after a suspected bomb menace.
The airplane had departed Dalaman, Turkey, and was certain for Manchester, however needed to be diverted to Stansted.
Flight monitoring web sites present that two fighter jets had escorted the airplane till it landed on the airport outdoors London.
Armed police are outdoors the plane and all departures from the airport have been halted, based on studies.
A passenger on Flight LS922 stated that, after the airplane landed, they remained on the plane for hours with “no information”.
Footage posted on social media present that the airplane has landed, with police automobiles parked outdoors.
Jet2 confirmed the incident. The airline tweeted: “We are able to affirm that flight LS922 DLM to MAN diverted to London Stansted this night beneath the course of UK Air Site visitors Management.
“The plane has landed safely & has taxied to a distant stand. We’re at the moment liaising with London Stansted Airport & the related authorities.”
