Noah Cyrus wrote of the tune on Twitter, “i wrote this about somebody i simply don’t know if i’ll ever have the ability to let go of.”
Cyrus labored on The Hardest Half with producer Mike Crossey (Arctic Monkeys, Ben Howard, The 1975, Wolf Alice).
Cyrus defined, “Creating the preparations was essentially the most fulfilling a part of this document. Mike and I had been so pushed and absolutely engulfed within the music.
