NICOLA Sturgeon has instructed of her heartbreak after the loss of life of a beloved relative.
Her uncle, newspaper legend Iain Ferguson tragically handed away just lately.
The former First Minister instructed how she “at all times seemed as much as” her Uncle Iain.
Iain was well-known in Scottish journalism and edited a number of native papers throughout Ayrshire.
He then went on to work at nationwide papers earlier than leaving to grow to be a PR for Ayr Racecourse.
Ms Sturgeon instructed how she worshipped her uncle and bonded over their love of books.
The previous SNP boss took to social media sharing the tragic information of his passing.
She tweeted: “My fantastic Uncle Iain, identified to many within the journalist world, has handed away.”
Ms Sturgeon added: “I hero-worshipped Iain once I was a wee lady and have seemed as much as him all my life.
“He and I shared a love of books and continually texted one another suggestions. I’ll miss him a lot.
“My like to Elaine, Emma, Lorna, his beloved grandkids, my mum and Uncle Scott.”
