Evan Monaghan completed an impressive third within the Irish Beneath 16 Boys Order of Advantage following his one-shot win within the 2022 Connacht Beneath-16 Boys Open at Carrick-on-Shannon.

Enniscorthy’s Sean Cooper was eighth on 4 over after a 73, with Naas’s Calum Duane and Ardee’s Harley Phipps rounding out the highest 10 in a tie for ninth on 5 over.
Keen, who gained the Ulster Beneath 16s at Bangor and was second within the Irish Beneath 16s at Lucan, claimed the Beneath 16 Order of Advantage from Douglas’s Jack Murphy, the Leinster and Munster champion, who didn’t compete in Carrick-on-Shannon as he was competing within the Boys Beginner Championship.
