Queen of Denmark’s youngsters ‘in shock’ after daring choice
The Queen of Denmark stripped half of her grandchildren of their royal titles.
Her 4 grandchildren, the youngsters of her second son Prince Joachim will now be referred as “counts or countesses of Monzepat”.
This results Princes Nikolai, 23, Felix, 20, and Henrik, 13, and Princess Athena, 10 and comes into drive 1 January 2023.
It’s reported by The Metro that the ex spouse of Prince Joachim is upset by the transfer, talking to Danish celeb journal Se Og Hor.
A rep for Countess Alexandra mentioned: ‘We’re all confused by the choice. We’re saddened and in shock.
“This comes like a bolt from the blue. The youngsters really feel ostracized. They can’t perceive why their identification is taken from them.”
It has been speculated whether or not Queen Margrethe and King Charles “co-ordinated” their transfer’s to slim down their respective monarchies.
