A “suspect” car was stopped following “tactical contact” at 9.51pm on Monday in Kirkstall Gardens, Streatham Hill, Lambeth Police stated in a press release
A police firearm was discharged and a male occupant of the car sustained a gunshot harm, the assertion added.
The person, who’s believed to be aged in his 30s, acquired first support from officers on the scene earlier than being taken to hospital.
His situation is unknown, with the power noting the Met’s Directorate of Skilled Requirements and the Impartial Workplace for Police Conduct have been contacted following the incident.
