After delivering her debut launch “Too Shut To Name” in Could, Ladybyrd has shared a second single titled “Stolen Daylight”, which, in her personal phrases, “captures the turbulent feelings of dropping one thing that was particular – or that you just thought was particular.”
Ladybyrd continues, “It is a few love you now know was flawed and unfaithful, with all ardour and hope only a reminiscence. I drew inspiration for this tune from many relationships I’ve witnessed, or been in myself. Whether or not romantic or platonic, if you realise that your love in direction of that particular person was by no means really reciprocated, it stings.”
Ladybyrd’s artist identify comes from a household nickname that her late grandfather gave to her mum, who then handed it all the way down to her, and the spelling of “byrd” is a reference to composer William Byrd.
Each of Ladybyrd’s singles are on account of function on her upcoming debut EP, which is predicted to reach in autumn.
