King Charles launched a heartbreaking assertion following the dying of Queen Elizabeth.
“The dying of my beloved Mom, Her Majesty The Queen, is a second of the best disappointment for me and all members of my household,” Charles stated in a press release on Thursday.
“We mourn profoundly the passing of a cherished Sovereign and a much-loved Mom. I do know her loss will likely be deeply felt all through the nation, the Realms and the Commonwealth, and by numerous folks around the globe.”
“Throughout this era of mourning and alter, my household and I will likely be comforted and sustained by our data of the respect and deep affection during which The Queen was so extensively held,” he added.
Buckingham Palace introduced the queen’s dying on Thursday.
“The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon,” the palace stated. “The King and The Queen Consort will stay at Balmoral this night and can return to London tomorrow.”
The monarch, who died on the age of 96, reigned for 70 years. Elizabeth ascended the throne on the age of 25, following the dying of her father, King George VI. She was the world’s second-longest reigning monarch.
