A DAD fed up with persistent floods close to his dwelling went for a dip in a single — to embarrass the council.
Jayme Loftus, 40, dug out a rubber ring from a Spanish vacation and floated in a submerged highway underneath a bridge.

The window cleaner says the water goes as much as the knee and successive “lakes” have been damaging autos for years whereas nothing is finished.
The dad of 5 mentioned: “It floods each time it rains, so if we have now one unhealthy day of rain it is going to flood for 3 or 4 days at a time.
“I needed to do one thing to embarrass the council so I simply dug my rubber ring out.
“I then determined I used to be going to go in, and informed my spouse to shortly take an image as a result of it was very chilly.”
The flooding happens close to an industrial property in Stockport.
Jayme mentioned: “Within the deepest half it’s as much as your knees and other people’s automobiles are getting broken.
“I’ve seen registration plates, the underneath tray that protects your engine and totally different bits of automotive components come off whereas individuals have been driving by it.
