Police have launched a search after a 17-year-old boy entered Fairlop Waters within the early hours of 4 July and was “unaccounted for.”
The Metropolitan Police have been referred to as to Fairlop Waters, Ilford, shortly after 12.30am on to reviews of a priority for security.
Officers attended together with London Ambulance Service and London Fireplace Brigade whereas the Nationwide Police Air Service was referred to as to the scene to assist with the search
The search is ongoing and the boy’s subsequent of kin have been knowledgeable.
Redbridge Council mentioned in a press release: “Following an incident on the lake at Fairlop Waters within the early hours of this morning, the park is closed to guests on the request of the emergency providers. At this second we have no idea when the park might be re-opened. Please verify our web site for additional updates.”
Labour parliamentary candidate Kam Rai mentioned there seemed to be “an incidence of misadventure on the lake at Fairlop Waters within the early hours” earlier than sharing the park might be closed to guests.
