POLICE swarmed an easyJet aircraft as we speak after it was pressured to make an emergency touchdown.
The flight landed at Liverpool’s John Lennon Airport as supposed the place it was met by emergency providers.
It had flown from Palma de Mallorca as we speak however made an emergency squawk as a consequence of a “technical subject”.
Easyjet confirmed it was met by emergency providers as is protocol.
A press release added: “EasyJet can affirm that flight EZY3360 from Palma to Liverpool on 8 August was met by emergency providers on arrival at Liverpool as a precaution solely, as a consequence of a technical subject.
“The captain carried out a routine touchdown in keeping with procedures and passengers disembarked usually.
“The protection of its passengers and crew is easyJet’s highest precedence and easyJet operates its fleet of plane in strict compliance with all producers’ tips.”
Liverpool John Lennon Airport stated the flight landed safely and it was “enterprise as normal”.
