A care house in Caldicot, celebrated 30 years because it first opened its doorways yesterday with an unique occasion for residents, kinfolk, and members of the area people.
Cherry Tree Care Dwelling, which welcomed its first residents in 1992, recognised people who’ve contributed to its success on the occasion with afternoon tea, champagne, and a Welsh harpist.
As a part of the milestone occasion, the Mayor Cllr Maxine Mitchell was additionally in attendance and helped plant an olive tree for the residents which symbolises peace and friendship.
Basic Supervisor at Cherry Tree Care Dwelling, Gill Jones stated:
“We began our celebration by welcoming household and pals into the house for a champagne reception after which we planted an Olive Tree which symbolises Peace and friendship. Collectively we celebrated this glorious occasion by sharing our tales with one another and reminiscing over the previous 30 years in regards to the house’s development and its long-standing presence locally.”
