“London Bridge” is Rowntree’s first outing as a solo artist, and is accompanied by a Cauboyz-directed video. The music was written by Rowntree and Gary Go, and manufacturing from Leo Abrahams.
“Once I was in my early 20s, in Colchester, I’d begin to see the quantity 126 in all places,” Rowntree defined. “I lived at a home that was 126, I’d get a bus that was 126. It felt to me that the universe was making an attempt to alert my consideration to 126 for some purpose, regardless that the rational a part of me knew that that was bollocks.”
“So, “London Bridge” was a type of,” he continued. “Issues simply began taking place once I was close to London Bridge, or going previous on the bus, or on the tube going beneath London Bridge. I’d simply discover occasions occurring, and it was barely unsettling.”
He added, “I needed to confront my London Bridge demons and that’s what the music is about.”
Rowntree additionally stated of going solo, “I’m actually excited to launch my first single as a solo artist. It’s from a physique of labor that I’ve been placing collectively during the last couple of years, and I’m humbled to be releasing it on the legendary Cooking Vinyl label.”
