A gang of 4 thugs allegedly entered a Leigh dwelling with a machete and assaulted the occupants in a ‘traumatic’ incident. Higher Manchester Police is investigating an aggravated housebreaking within the early hours of Friday morning (June 24) on Glover Road.
Following preliminary enquiries, police say 4 offenders sporting balaclavas entered the property earlier than threatening and assaulting the occupants. One of many group was carrying a machete on the time of the incident, GMP says.
The group then left the property empty handed within the course of Tamar Grove and Nel Pen Lane. The victims have been taken to hospital for therapy.
