R.E.M. are set to reissue their 1982 debut EP Power City in August to have fun its fortieth anniversary.
The band’s first EP featured 5 songs – “Wolves, Decrease”, “Gardening At Evening”, “Carnival Of Types (Boxcars)”, “1,000,000” and “Stumble” – and was initially launched on August 24, 1982 because the follow-up to their 1981 debut single “Radio Free Europe”.
R.E.M. will now reissue Power City as a CD, image disc and cassette on August 19 through I.R.S./UMe.
It will likely be the primary time that the document can be in the stores as a standalone CD, which is able to function intensive liner notes by the unique producer Mitch Easter.
