Our backyard has been invaded by big rats – it is a residing hell, we’re terrified


A WOMAN says she has been left too afraid to go away her flat after an invasion of big rats.

Brenda Smith, who lives in a multi-story constructing in Glasgow, claims dozens of rodents are roaming about her communal backyard day and evening.

She says the ordeal has left her “residing in hell” and too scared to go away her flat on Earl Avenue.

Brenda even stopped taking the bins out after one of many rodents ran over her foot.

And the 65-year-old claims cleaning staff are refusing to empty bins from the again of the property.
