The Cooperative Institute for Extreme & Excessive-Impression Climate Analysis and Operations (CIWRO

https://ciwro.ou.edu/) seeks to fill a Analysis Scientist place for its collaborative analysis as a Cooperative Institute with the Nationwide Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Workplace of Oceanic and Atmospheric Analysis (OAR) Nationwide Extreme Storms Laboratory (NSSL). The Analysis Scientist will contribute to NSSL’s Warn-on-Forecast (WoF) program.

 

Background: 

The WoF system (https://wof.nssl.noaa.gov/) is envisioned to be a main driver of the NWS Forecasting a Continuum of Environmental Threats paradigm  (FACETS; https://www.nssl.noaa.gov/tasks/sides/).
