To commemorate the event and his ever-enduring legacy, Pop star Zayn was enlisted to place his distinctive spin on the icon’s tune ‘Angel.’
Revealing that it was a particular request to honor the icon, the previous One Route singer mentioned:
Being requested to collaborate to have fun Jimi Hendrix eightieth birthday was such an surprising and big honour. I’ve a lot respect and admiration for Jimi, his music and followers. ‘Angel’ is out now – hope you’re keen on the monitor as a lot as I do. Blissful eightieth Jimi.”
