London prepare strike newest LIVE: Rail walkout begins with simply half of the strains open

ommuters throughout the nation are set for extreme journey disruption on Saturday as 1000’s of rail staff strike over pay, job cuts and dealing situations.

The strike is predicted to contain as much as 40,000 staff and can embrace the next operators: Chiltern Railways, CrossCountry, Better Anglia, LNER, East Midlands Railway, c2c, Nice Western Railway, Northern Trains, South Jap, South Western Railway, TransPennine Categorical, Avanti West Coast, West Midlands Trains, GTR (together with Gatwick Categorical), London Overground, Hull Trains, London Northwestern Railway.

The London Overground will run a service between 8am to 6pm, whereas the Elizabeth Line may also run a lowered timetable.
