In June The Mars Volta returned with “Blacklight Shine“, and the following month they shared “Graveyard Love“. At first of August they delivered a 3rd observe titled “Vigil“, and likewise shared information of their first album in a decade, and in a brand new interview with The Guardian, The Mars Volta mentioned their return, and what they consider folks reacting negatively to their new sound.
Talking about followers reacting negatively to their new materials, Cedric Bixler-Zavala stated, “Some folks may see it as betrayal. I’ve seen some folks name it yacht rock. However yacht rock slaps so arduous that hip-hop producers pattern it on a regular basis.”
Omar Rodríguez López added, “Dropping ‘followers’ is baked into what we do. I don’t know a higher happiness than dropping ‘followers’. That appears like college. That appears like the federal government. That sounds just like the police. The Mars Volta will observe their 2012 album Noctourniquet.
