£5 Million Funding to Assist Revitalise Powys and Ceredigion City Centres

Bydd y chwistrelliad newydd hwn o fuddsoddiad yn mynd hyd yn oed pellach i sicrhau fod ein trefi prydferth yng nghanolbarth Cymru yn cael bywyd newydd ac yn parhau i fod yn lleoedd ffynniannus i fyw, gweithio ac ymweld â hwy.”

Dywedodd y Cyng. Clive Davies, Aelod o Gabinet Cyngor Sir Ceredigion dros yr Economi ac Adfywio:

“Mae’r Grant Creu Lleoedd yn gyfle gwych i randdeiliaid preifat a chyhoeddus i gael mynediad at gronfeydd i fod yn gatalydd ar gyfer newid yng nghanol ein trefi led led canolbarth Cymru, i wneud gwelliannau yn eu synnwyr unigryw o le ac i greu cymunedau cynaliadwy yn gymdeithasol ac yn economaidd.”

Dywedodd Lee Waters, Dirprwy Weinidog Llywodraeth Cymru dros Newid Hinsawdd:

“Rydym yn ymroddedig i wneud ein trefi a’n dinasoedd yn lleoedd hyd yn oed gwell i fyw, gweithio ac ymweld â hwy. Mae’r Grant Creu Lleoedd yn helpu i adfywio calonnau’r cymunedau lleol hyn.

“Mae canol trefi yn wynebu nifer o heriau sydd ond wedi gwaethygu gan y pandemig, a’n blaenoriaeth yw sicrhau eu bod yn ffynnu a’u hamddiffyn yn erbyn effeithiau newid hinsawdd.

“Rydym wedi gallu cefnogi nifer o brosiectau ardderchog yng nghanolbarth Cymru, gan gynnwys adnewyddu eiddo yng nghanol tref Aberystwyth a thrawsnewid hen fanc yn Y Trallwng.”
