The Warrior’s Reluctant Spouse (Mills & Boon Historic) by Lissa Morgan
My score: 4 of 5 stars
The Warrior’s Reluctant Spouse is the first ebook within the Warriors Of Wales sequence of historic romances.
The story is about in early medieval Wales and opens with an organized marriage uniting two households in hopes of strengthening the Welsh nobles of their battle to stay unbiased from the English king.
Rhianon and Peredur each enter the wedding with totally different ideas and fears, however they have to discover a widespread floor if they’re to outlive in a chilly outpost citadel the place the reception feels hostile.
The coastal citadel setting for this story was very intriguing with the eerie calls of the ocean creatures. The romance story arc was in step with comparable historic romances, however the period and Welsh setting made it memorable. There have been fairly a couple of Welsh character names to get the tongue round which had been a bit difficult for me.
begin to the brand new sequence.
