The coastal citadel setting for this story was very intriguing with the eerie calls of the ocean creatures. The romance story arc was in step with comparable historic romances, however the period and Welsh setting made it memorable. There have been fairly a couple of Welsh character names to get the tongue round which had been a bit difficult for me.
