Heading Over the Hill by Judy Leigh
My score: 4 of 5 stars
3.5 stars
Heading Over The Hill is a humorous up to date story.
Billy and Dawnie could also be great-grandparents however they nonetheless get pleasure from life, using their motorcycle and having enjoyable. They’ve left their household in Bolton and have come to Devon looking for their dream residence.
The story opens with them arriving on the home they’ve rented for a couple of months in Barnstaple; Dawnie is a little bit anxious that the road can be boring and the neighbours can be unfriendly. Nevertheless, Billy assures her that all the things can be okay.
That is a kind of feel-good tales that encourages everybody to stay life to the total. Dawnie and Billy are a really beneficiant and likeable couple. I loved how Billy’s story slowly unfolded with a couple of red-herrings thrown in.
I’ve heard so many good opinions for Judy Leigh’s guide that I needed to strive one, however, for me, this was a simply an okay learn; I hoped for extra.
