After final Saturday’s deluge within the UK, this week the climate has been about half and half; some cool moist days, whereas others have been scorching and dry.
What’s flowering within the backyard this week?
Two extra Gladioli have come into bloom, they kindly offered yet another pink and one other purple selection. The Pink one has propped itself up on a close-by Sunflower stalk- very helpful buddy system!
Extra Dahlias are flowering now, I can’t inform if these are the mum or dad crops or from cuttings. I additionally tried rising some from final yr’s seed and so they have all been planted out higgledy-piggledy, sharing pots, so something goes.
Subsequent up is a number of extra Scabius which I had thought have been over, so these are a stunning shock.
Lastly some poppies, doing their factor and being left to seed in a nook of the backyard.
Do drop in tomorrow for an additional Enchanting Gardens publish. This week we go to #SixOnSaturday host Jim Stephens in his Cornish backyard.
